2027 LEADERSHIP PLANNING SUMMIT

Get clear on where you’re going, what matters most, and what needs to change to get there.

A focused, in-person planning engagement for leadership teams that need to step out of the day-to-day, make deliberate choices about 2027, and leave aligned on what actually deserves their attention.

Three October engagements available.

WHY THIS WORKS

Your leadership team can hold its own planning meeting.

The harder part is creating the clarity, ownership, and leadership alignment that turn a plan into results.

When you’re responsible for both participating in the conversation and leading it, it’s easy to move too quickly past disagreement, hold onto too many priorities, or leave important assumptions unchallenged.

A Leadership Planning Summit creates the space and structure to go deeper. We’ll surface different perspectives, challenge assumptions, make deliberate tradeoffs, and build shared ownership around where the business is going.

But we won’t stop at deciding what the business needs to do.

We’ll also ask what those choices require from the leaders responsible for making them happen. What needs to change? How does each function contribute? What does your team need from you? And how will you make sure the people responsible for delivering the plan understand both the direction and why it matters?

Because the goal isn’t simply to leave with a plan. It’s to leave with a leadership team that is clearer, more aligned, and better equipped to turn that plan into results.

WHAT YOU’LL LEAVE WITH

A 2027 plan built to drive real business results.

Not a list of aspirations that gets filed away. You’ll leave with deliberate priorities, clear ownership, measures of success, and the leadership commitments needed to turn decisions into progress. Just as importantly, you’ll be clear about what you’re not going to prioritize so your team can put its energy where it matters most.

NORTH STAR

A clear definition of what success looks like in 2027.

A shared desired outcome that gives your leadership team a filter for future decisions, opportunities, and requests, especially when circumstances change.

THE NOT LIST

Clear agreement on what will not receive leadership attention right now.

Your team will identify the initiatives, ideas, and competing priorities that need to be deferred, stopped, or deliberately left outside the 2027 focus so the things that matter most have room to succeed.

STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

The few things that deserve disproportionate attention.

A deliberately chosen set of priorities, each connected to the value it should create, why it matters, and the major risks that could stand in the way.

ACTION LOG

A bridge from decisions in the room to real execution.

Capture the immediate decisions, open questions, follow-ups, and next actions each leader owns as they take the direction back to their function.

OWNERSHIP + MEASURES

Who owns what, and how you’ll know it’s working.

Each priority will have an owner, rough timing, and meaningful measures of success so progress can be evaluated rather than assumed.

LEADERSHIP COMMITMENTS

What each leader needs to do differently.

Each leader will connect the priorities to their role and function, identify what needs to change, and determine what their teams need to understand to turn the direction into results.

The measure of a successful planning summit isn’t how good the plan sounds in the room. It’s what changes in the business because of it.

HOW IT WORKS

A planning process built around your business, not a generic workshop.

Each summit is designed around the decisions, tensions, and opportunities your leadership team actually needs to work through.

01 | PREPARE

Get the right context before we get in the room.

Your team completes pre-work and shares key business information so I can understand your priorities, performance, challenges, and perspectives before the summit begins.

02 | DESIGN

Build the day around the conversations that matter most.

Before the summit, we’ll hold two one-hour preparation sessions to understand what success needs to look like, surface areas that deserve deeper discussion, and shape the day around your business.

03 | SUMMIT

Do the hard thinking together.

I’ll facilitate a full-day, in-person working session designed to challenge assumptions, force tradeoffs, create alignment, and turn the conversation into clear priorities, ownership, and next actions.

04 | SUSTAIN

Make sure the work survives the meeting.

You’ll receive the finalized 2027 Leadership Plan, followed by a one-hour Momentum Session approximately 2–3 weeks later to review progress, identify where momentum is slipping, and determine what needs attention next.

The structure is deliberate. The content is customized to your business.

WHO IT’S FOR

For leadership teams that need to make real choices about 2027.

This summit is designed for established small and midsize businesses that need dedicated space to think beyond the day-to-day and make deliberate decisions about where the business goes next.

This is likely a strong fit if...

Your business has grown or changed, and what worked before may not be enough for where you’re going next.

Your leadership team has more ideas and opportunities than it has capacity, and you need to make real tradeoffs.

You want the leaders responsible for execution involved in shaping the direction, not simply handed a plan afterward.

You know what you decide in the room matters less than whether your leaders can turn those decisions into results once they leave it.

Need something different? If you need help aligning around an existing strategy, pressure-testing a plan, or driving execution, this summit may not be the right engagement, but MSP may still be able to help.
